That's the main reason why private accounts aren't used for government business in every other place in this country except Alaska.

It's another example of the sheer incompetence of this woman.

INFOSEC (Information Security) was my bread and butter.

You're damn skippy that this is her fault.

It was her failure to maintain proper information security procedures that instigated this whole breach.

The State of Alaska should prosecute her for this, big time.

4. That point is moot
Fact: Proper INFOSEC dictates that government business should be conducted on secure government accounts.

Fact: She used her Yahoo account to conduct state business.

Fact: Yahoo accounts are insecure and vulnerable to attacks.

Conclusion: Palin committed a breach of Alaska state security.

5. It's not a setup.
Anonymous is a group on 4chan that does this stuff for laughs. A governor is using a personal, totally unsecured email account? That's hillarious.

Seriously, enough with the paranoia.

10. I don't know. But it should be
If she can't keep Alaskan government information secure, I'm afraid to see what she'd do with Federal security.

9. No, this is her secure account for Gov business
"https" the "s" is for secure

It has "gov" after "Alaska"

That is the proper account to conduct government business

13. I agree
I have worked with a lot of righties in IT, this will hurt her more than the idiot talking heads on Fox think. They are under the impression that the evil Libs are going after her email. That will be forgoten by Friday. Techies won't forget that, if she sent any Gov't emails on this account, she is an idiot

14. The point of her Yahoo account
was to circumvent governmental transparency laws - she deserves everything that happens to her.
