I volunteered at the event today (seating people and making sure all the center seats where the TV shots were going to be were filled).
It was a PHENOMENAL event. We had a huge *excited* crowd that was at my estimate 12,000+ (the seating holds 9000 and and they were practically filled with a few thousand on the field too). Obama tore down the house. He forcefully yet eloquently called McCain out on all his hypocrisies without a shred of inhibition or timidness. He slaughtered him on the economy. IMO it was one of his best speeches yet. The crowds were into it. We even got some people registered there too.
If today was any indication, our campaign is BACK ON MESSAGE, plainly and simply.
I didn't bring my camera and I left soon after with one of the other volunteers, but I'll see if I can get pictures to post up at the office this Sunday.
Nevada for OBAMA/BIDEN!
PS -- I saw the national poll with Obama up 5 and the Indiana poll with Obama up 3. Great news.
