Donald Trump on Larry King - unbelievable!
Edited on Wed Sep-17-08 11:26 PM by pirhana
Obama's going to raise your taxes.
Larry - no his not, only people earning over 250K
Donald - that's not right.

Larry - which vp candidate would be better to step into the Presidency - Biden or Palin.
Donald - definitely Palin. Look at what she has done for the party.

And the whole time, Ali Velishi (whatever his name is) is nodding his head in agreement.

Do you ever feel like you are living in an alternative universe?

on edit - I figured out why Trump likes Palin. It's a hair thing.

22. Trump's new investment is a hotel in Dubai.
Edited on Wed Sep-17-08 11:51 PM by Major Hogwash
If you want to see what the hotel looks like, do a Google image search for it.
The hotel's design is really tall, of course, but it is shaped like a flower (or so he says), with a huge hole in the middle of the building.
It will cost 100s of millions of dollars to build.

Oh, and "party" (Read: Take illicit drugs and cavort with Eastern European call-girls) on the mega-yachts of Russian billionaires.

And the best thing that ever happened to him was his father dying just as Trump was going bankrupt. You know, his dad that built slum public housing for NYC.

I value his opinion just slightly lower than what my cats leave me in the litter box.

of McCain. Of course he'd like McCain - because McCain won't touch the money of the top $ earners in this country. Trump just said to all of us non one percenter's - be damned.

I couldn't believe that I agreed with Ben Stein on most of what he said. Sounds like the only reason he won't vote for Obama is a wedge issue - Right to Lifer. I can't believe that a man as smart as Stein would be taken in by a 'wedge' issue. Oh - he probably is wealthy too and worried about taxes.

Since Trump made millions extra with the Bush tax cuts, and McCain supports/wants to make them permanent.

I knew he was a pretty big one, but not that big. A person has to be flat stupid to say Barack would raise taxes on people lower than 250 grand at this point. (outside of those who don't pay any attention to politics) And Palin, better than Biden? Yeah, come talk to me when she's actually knows something.

39. Donald does not like black people in a position of power. He about had a fit when
Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 05:35 AM by my3boyz
he had to hire this black man as his Apprentice. I mean there was no getting around it because the man was more qualified. What happened when he won? He immediately within seconds tried to pressure him into allowing him to hire the white woman with him. I had no problem with him wanting to offer the lady a job. However, he could have let the man have the spotlight the night he won and then offer the lady a job the next day. He can't stand it.

Also, he is greedy and wants to keep all of his money. Forget those that don't have money. Let them pull up their boot straps even if they don't have any as Obama says. That is the only reason he is lying about Obama. He knows exactly who will get higher taxes. Donald is worried because HE will have to pay more taxes.

45. Yes, I remember that, since I've watched every season of "The Apprentice".
Trump has hired 3 white males, 2 white females, and 1 black male on the show.

However, the black male is the ONLY ONE who he tried to get to agree to sharing the title that season, because he wanted to hire the white female finalist as well.

Interesting, how the only time he wants to get the winner to share his/her victory, it was the black male.

i seem to remember him saying he didn't think McCain's service was impressive because he got caught . implying McCain just wasn't that good.

i guess it was wrong to assume he might lean democratic just because he hates Bush.

48. Trump isn't the economic "genius" some portray him to be.
Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 04:38 PM by SurferBoy
Trump financed the building of the $1 billion Taj Mahal casino with high-interest junk bonds in the late 1980s and took a bath on it.

He declared bankruptcy as a result in 1991 and was nearly personally bankrupt.

Then in 1992, the Trump Plaza Hotel filed for Chapter 11.

Next, in 2004, Trump Hotels & Casinos announced a restructuring of their debt, which is the last resort before having to file bankruptcy.

Trump's multiple real estate failures and bankruptcies and running up large debts is a microcosm of what has gotten the country in this crisis for the last 8 years.

It's actually good that he endorses McCain instead of Obama.

There is a political ad in here somewhere, where they can hammer Trump's multiple business failures and how such a financial "genius" supports McCain.
