THIS should be bigger news than some socialite endorsing McCain
A staunch conservative and former publisher of the National Review explains why he'll be voting for Obama:

Barack Obama is not my ideal candidate for president. (In fact, I made the maximum donation to John McCain during the primaries, when there was still hope he might come to his senses.) But I now see that Obama is almost the ideal candidate for this moment in American history. I disagree with him on many issues. But those don’t matter as much as what Obama offers, which is a deeply conservative view of the world. Nobody can read Obama’s books (which, it is worth noting, he wrote himself) or listen to him speak without realizing that this is a thoughtful, pragmatic, and prudent man. It gives me comfort just to think that after eight years of George W. Bush we will have a president who has actually read the Federalist Papers.

1. Of course it should be,
but of course, it has nothing to do with sowing division among Democrats....so it's not Newsworthy like Ms. Lady Venus de Milan Forest Whittaker Fabrege le Rothchild.

2. So true ...
And I LOL'ed at "Forest Whitaker."

Of course, Forest Whitaker is too cool to associate himself with an asshat like M'Lady.

6. Yes! Finally, someone sees sense. People like to bring up the Founding Fathers
but those same exact people never examine the principles that the Founding Fathers operated by. The Federalist Papers are a really good example of how our government was meant to be set up and they also serve to be a living will of the discourse that the nation underwent before deciding to become an imperfect union.

Also, in this economic crisis, Obama's uniquely suited because our confidence in him as President would likely result in a rise of confidence in America and thus, its economy. I am willing to bet anything I own that if and when Obama wins the election, the Dow Jones will go up in response because in addition to the capital that the various markets are supposed to reflect, the indexes are also reflect worldwide confidence in that market. So yes, Obama does far more with his very presence than Bush or McCain will ever do.

10. What a backhanded compliment!
The only reason this guy says he supports Obama is because he twists reality such that Obama is a conservative!

Wow.

Is this guy's real name Orwell?
