Detroit Free Press: Will Obama appear at University of Michigan game?
Will Obama appear at U-M game?
BY TODD SPANGLER • FREE PRESS STAFF WRITER • September 18, 2008

The day after next Friday's first presidential debate Democratic nominee Barack Obama will be back in Michigan.

That first debate -- on Sept. 26, at the University of Mississippi -- will focus on domestic policy, suggesting that the economy will be the biggest talking point of the night.

The campaign couldn't say where or exactly when Obama will be in Michigan on that Saturday.

Here's a guess though: That Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor about 110,000 or so people will be gathered to watch the University of Michigan football team play the University of Wisconsin Badgers.

Might it be an opportunity for the Democrat from Illinois to risk saying something he desperately needs to hear from Michigan voters on Nov. 4?

Like: Go Blue?

2. Huh? Do you know how many death threats he probably gets?
He probably wouldn't go anywhere if he responded to death threats.

Sincerely, :wtf:

5. Again, do you honestly think those are the only death threats he's received?
He probably gets them everywhere he goes.....So should he go hide under a desk?

Go Lions!

Graduate alumni from PSU here - I would cringe if Obama said Go Blue.

Best keep the endorsements of football programs off the table (unless its his home state or Illinois - and there's not much to cheer about there). People get all caught up in college football and it might actually cost some votes from the lower IQ crowd.
