Ronald Reagan would be rolling over in his grave...
if he were still alive? But it would be the last time he would roll over. Because Reagan-era government is now officially over.

Sarah Palin is now speaking on TV. She started her speech by introducing her husband, Todd Palin, "a proud member of the US Steelworkers Union". What?? Reagan busted the PATCO Union. I doubt that he would be supportive of the US Steelworkers Union? I doubt that he would support union organizing? But that is what this reincarnation of the Republican Party seems to be saying? Am I wrong? It would be nice to get this clarified? And let Reagan rest in peace...

But, on the other hand, it is a good day for America when we can declare Reaganomics officially dead. Although there will be dreamers within the Republican Party that will try to re-write history and re-define what Reaganomics has brought upon this country. It's just that some supporters of Reagan misunderstood what he meant and led our country down the wrong path. But make no mistake, Reagan is dead. And this disaster with the banks is the final shovel of dirt upon his grave.

2. Reagan himself was a union president
but I don't remember if he tried to use that to claim he was pro-labor.

4. Everytime the Republicans reappear they have a different front man,
but the puppeteer is still the same.

5. "Reaganomics officially dead"
I never thought I would live to hear those glorious words.

Too bad it has to end the way it is but if it starts things over again in the right direction with some regulation I will be willing to hurt for a good long while.
