National Journal Battleground Polls: CO: O+1, FL: Tied, NM: O+7, OH: M+1, VA:M+7
Poll was taken Sep 11-15, so much of the polling is done before the news of the economy hit. Obama's VA number is low, but I expect its much closer now.

1. So he wins the Kerry states, plus Iowa and New Mexico. Plus maybe Colorado, Florida, or Ohio.
Virginia possibly too.

Looking good. Looking really good.

5. Just got off the phone with my conservative coworker in Indiana..
And he said that since Sunday his area of the state has turned sharply pro-Obama. I think he even lives in the bible-belt part of the state.

We'll see if his sniff test is real, but he sounded quite convinced that Indiana will go blue for the first time in 50 years.

6. If not blue, it'll certainly be VERY close.
I have my doubts about Indiana and Virgina, but I think they're in our reach and if we don't win them--we'll certainly close up the gap and move the state blue in the next election. Hopefully when Obama is re-elected.

I have hopes about my state of Missouri.

In 2004, I saw so many W stickers. I barely see any McCain ones, and plenty of Obama bumper stickers. Yard signs aren't a good measuring of what voters are thinking in this area, because most just have bumper stickers. But yard signs seem about even. Based on my own bumper sticker/yard sign polling :P

3. Polls
These were taken before the bad Economy news hit.NM should be moving Into Safe Obama stauts. This
reinfocuses CNN/Time's numbers on Florida.Good news on CO.Even before the bad Economic news and
Mccain's meltdown we are slightly ahead there. And the news Isn't bad on Ohio.It shows it Is In play.
Virginia poll Is off.Recent polls from others have Obama ahead.

8. The MOE is a bit high.
But it sounds about right. I think Virginia is closer and his lead in Colorado a bit larger.
