O’Reilly kills Bush's legacy: He’s done...He will now go down in history…as an ineffectual leader.
Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 02:05 PM by ProSense

O’Reilly: The current ‘economic chaos…is the end of President Bush’s legacy.’

On his radio show yesterday, conservative talker Bill O’Reilly concluded that the current “economic chaos” on Wall Street spells “the end of President Bush’s legacy.” Citing Bush’s “poor leadership,” O’Reilly declared:

He’s done. He’s through. … He will now go down in history…as an ineffectual leader. And I’ll tell you the reason why, it’s poor leadership on his part. The people that he picked to run certain things have been disastrous. And no leadership and now Americans are getting hurt.

Listen here:

http://thinkprogress.org/2008/09/18/oreilly-end-bush-legacy/">O'Reilly: Economic crisis is the end of Pres. Bush's legacy')

All it took was an infringement on his wallet, no doubt.

37. Absolutely . . .
and I assume that Billy Boy is still backing John McBush. I guess that just because McToady voted with Mr. No Legacy 90% of the time and that he hired Phil Gramm, one of the major players in the set up to this debacle, as his top economic advisor, McSame is still in the clear in Billo's book.

I'm afraid that Bill Loofa Pants is a skanky Republican shill and he will be until they tear the GOP talking points from his cold, dead hands.

10. And how much time has he devoted over the years to "fixing" Bush's problems?
Fuck him. Only now 50 days before a new election he says this? How many times over the past 8 years has he had asshats like Dick Morris on his show to talk about how Bush can improve is low standing with the American people. Only now when its utterly hopeless he says this? Again-Fuck him.

"The people that he picked to run certain things have been disastrous... and now Americans are getting hurt."

Now they're getting hurt, Bill? NOW?

What about
...the willful ignorance of terrorists inside the country
...the Iraq occupation
...the Katrina response
...the Afghanistan occupation
...the mortgage meltdown that started years ago
...the EPA ignoring science
...the FDA slacking on food and drug inspections and approval

NOW? How about since 2001?

17. Even BillO is tired of carrying the Republican water...
It is pathetically clear that BushCo is a failure of massive proportion; you have to be really stupid, or willfully ignorant, NOT to understand this fully at this point in time. Now is the time for some soul searching in the media... continue to hold water for liars and be named one yourself? Or, start telling the fucking truth finally... because we all know it anyway and you are making an ass of yourself for hanging onto that idiotic water bucket!

I was beside myself last night while watching ABC news (I've always subscribed to the "know thine enemy" line of thinking that compelled me to keep an eye on the rat bastards) and seeing with my own eyes, and hearing with my own ears, ABC freaking news telling me McCain is lying.

I hope more follow suit... and I hope we can hold ourselves back... it really is too little too late.

Ineffectual leader is someone who just can't get it together.

Bush is very effective -- along the lines of Idi Amin or Baby Doc Duvalier.

Bush's name should always be spoken with disgust.

Does he blame trickle down voodoo economics and pure greed? Does he blame conservative ovine, knee-jerk, slavish, ditto-head, follow-the-leader worship of their master, whoever it might be?

Blaming Bush and the people that he picked is simply not enough. In fact, every single Republican including O'Reilly should kneel down and kiss the ass of the American public for the harm they've done over the decades.
