Tweety: Bush looked like a cuckoo clock today, "cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo"
He was commenting on Bush's extremely brief and strange appearance today on television to address the financial crisis in the country. He said Bush appeared for a few seconds and then suddenly disappeared, sounding all the while like a cuckoo clock. Then Tweety began chanting "cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo". It was priceless!

1. Tweety is on a "I've got nothing to lose, gonna get me some ink too" tear.
Good on him, time to be the old Tweety we knew a couple of years ago. KO and Rachel's ratings are great because they tell it the way it really is..

2. But KO and Rachel are more disciplined than Tweety
If Tweety could bring it every day, he'd be fine. But too many days he just phones it in or is more interested in making sure he gets invitations to cocktail parties than in being a reporter.

5. true. He needs to do his research.
He was way too shocked that the commission to investigate troopergate was bipartisan, yesterday. Also, last Thursday when Tweety at first talking about how Bush made the mistake of dividing up the country by championing an unpopular war, and Rachel said "yeah, and John McCain said he wanted war with Iraq on September 12th, 2001", at first he tried to deny it until he said "Ok...I guess it was him too...good research."

Democratic Primary.

21. He will NOT get my support in the primary ...
FAR too many memories of him marginalizing Ds for YEARS to be "in."

NOW, it isn't going to matter, cause he is likely going to win the primary. I will vote for him, but that is it if he faces Spector.

7. I believe his name is Ron Christi
Yeah, he's a piece of work. I wish that someone would have asked when Palin had the word lipstick trademarked.

8. Well, I just wished that other woman would have been able to get a word in edgewise...
had I been sitting there, I would have said, OH BULLSHIT, your campaign has completely plagiarized the entire Obama campaign theme, and tag lines!!

He's a jerk.

10. Repubs are desperate, they're not going to give an inch
I like the woman, Jenny Baccus, but we need to use tougher surrogates for especially these types of head-to-head match-ups. Keith Boyken(sp) is a Dem strategist that doesn't let others get away with what Christi pulled today.

6. That's hilarious...
...and oh, so appropriate!

I don't care why, Tweety's obviously on a tear this days and good for him! I think he's totally pissed about being cast aside from following the campaign -- and I don't blame him. He was being such a good little "balanced" announcer, but then he went and made the mistake of gushing over Obama's speech -- and that was the end, the Republics complained and he and Keith were dumped overboard.

But of course, they both still have their shows. So Tweety has his chance to get even with the sons-of-b*****s, and well, I guess he's taking advantage of it.

Still got a little bite there, Tweets! Great!

12. Mathews is now and has always been
a twit.

Somebody posted his squelching of some nimrod GOP mouthpiece, and most of the DU posters seemed to think it was cool -- put all he did was shout the man down in the fashion of billo.

It is kinda nice to see him getting away with "turning the tables" but shite is still shite even when it is on our side.

15. He deserved shouting down because he REFUSED
to give an answer to the question posed. Its exactly what McCain, Palin, and Dubya do, just spout talking points regardless if they have context and if the question is refocused do it again until the spineless interviewer lets it slide and goes on.

Damn it, if you won't at least give a logically contextual response over and over to avoid the issues you should be made a mockery of and dismissed because your just trying to bullshit the American People and that's blind to party. Its common sense.

16. Tweety can see which way the wind is blowing
I'll be honest, I still hold a grudge against Tweety from the primaries (and I didn't even support Hillary, I just thought he went way over the line).

The Repubs are going to lose, that's clear and some of us think they're going to lose big. Tweety's a journalist (sort of), he can see which way the wind is blowing.
