Urgent call to NC Dems and Blue State Dems - How we can win this!!

1. North Carolina is in play, it's close enough that if we GOTV and do it big we can put NC in the Obama column. BUT WE NEED HELP!!

2. If a Dem from NC would house a Dem from a blue state, together they could start driving people to the polls who want to vote but just can't get there on their own.

3. Early voting starts on October 16 here in NC, we have approx 2 weeks of getting those folks to the polls to get those numbers up into the non-stealable range in this state. TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT!!!


IF YOU ARE A DEMOCRAT IN NORTH CAROLINA AND WILLING TO HOST A BLUE STATE DEM, POST HERE WITH YOUR CITY'S NAME.


IF YOU ARE A DEMOCRAT IN A BLUE STATE AND ARE ABLE TO GIVE ANY AMOUNT OF TIME IN THAT 2 WEEKS OF EARLY VOTING, PLEASE POST HERE WITH YOUR DATES.


We already have a steady amount of volunteering going on with local dems, but I'm thinking when the GOTV effort starts, things are going to reach critical levels. Obama's lovely team and their awesome volunteers have been making calls to see who needs rides, the next step is getting them there!!

That's one of the reasons I started feeling so confident about an Obama win in the primary, I saw his ground game first hand and realized I was watching a winner.

We have a very strong coalition of progressive groups doing GOTV and registration but could always use more help. Need help with all aspects especially rides to the polls during early voting.

If we were able to branch out into the outlying counties (because Meck and the RDU area are going to be fine) we'd make a major splash. Can you imagine if we were to have an NC Dem/Blue State Dem team in many counties across the state how many extra votes that would get us? Are you in contact with a field director from the Obama campaign? If so, would you consider being a contact between any teams who sign on here and the Obama campaign to get them info they need to GOTV?
