Obama 273 McCain 265
Obama was trailing McCain at www.electoral-vote.com from after the Republican Convention until yesterday.

Thank goodness, Obama is now in the lead.

I've donated to the state Democratic parties in close states like Wisconsin.

1. That is a good swing but way too close
We need a 25 or 30 point EV lead to reduce any cheating or other BS. All it would take is one state challenge and the Supreme Court steps in like 2000 and hands it to the right again.

2. Too many close toss up states! Florida, Ohio, PA, we need all
those states. If they were to flip GOP, it could be a disaster, so we need to redouble our efforts and realize this is far from won.

4. We do not need all of those states. We do need PA...no doubt abt it.
Obama has a good shot of flipping VA, IA, Colorado and New Mexico.

3. Aladdin -- "Hold your breath, it gets better."
State polling always trails national polling by at least few days...Given what Gallup and R2K are telling us, we are simply in the midst of the state polls correcting themselves. I mean, I'm sure some of you remember Obama trailing McCain in the popular votes by a couple of points and yet being way ahead on electoral-vote (as in 290+)...In all of those cases, McCain eventually surpassed Obama on that site. GOBAMA!!!! GOBAMA!!!!

5. OHIO
But I think OHIO is going to be a big prize yet again.

I'm from Michigan and I believe we will hold Michigan Blue but it will be close. I'm worried about OHIO.

6. Wow...ID-1 within 11 points...
Poor, poor Repukes...It's gonna be a long night of binge drinking and coke snorting at Camp David as the GOPees numb the pain.

9. Sorry if I had been unclear, buddy...
I was talking about ID-1's House race, in which Walter Minnick is only 11 points behind GOPee incumbent Bill Sali. That's pretty exciting.

As long as we hold Michigan, there are several scenarios that give Obama the win BUT Ohio makes it straightforward. We need OHIO!
