How much is the RNC costing the economy?
I ask because it appears that NYC, including the financial markets, has basically ground to a halt for the Coronation. A dear friend, who works at one of the major investment banks, is visiting her Dad here because her section is down to a skeleton crew for the whole week.

Thanks, Bush*! I haven't seen her in over a year! That's the first decent thing you've ever done for me...

...but what about the markets pretty much being closed? How much business is being lost? What kind of a dent will this put in the recovery*?

It will come out in the 3rd quarter GDP numbers.
