These people are Democrats?
Former Hillary Clinton campaign staffers charged Obama with being too inexperienced for the presidency, shifting their support to McCain, on a conference call sponsored by the McCain campaign Friday afternoon.

"Obama really doesn't have the experience,” said Miguel Lausell, senior national political advisor to Hillary Clinton. “We don't know what he's going to be doing. We don't really know where he's coming from, and that's the big difference."

Luchy Secaira, former Sen. Hillary Clinton Delegate-at-Large, said that
stance on women’s issues is all talk and no action. Secaira said that Obama’s rhetoric on the Equal Pay Act is not backed up with hiring practices in his Senate office.

"We need to look no further than Sen. Obama's own senate office, where it's been documented that he pays women less on his staff than males on his staff,” said Secaira. “He talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk."

Hard to believe. No, impossible to believe.

3. "Documented that he pays women less ..."
WHERE is the PROOF of this? PUMAs say it's documented, but none of them seem able to cough up the evidence.

Obama's record on women, have they looked at McCain's? Or, for that matter have they looked at Biden's excellent record.

Then again, I wonder if Palin even thinks Hispanics are American.

Given the polls, these people are atypical and I doubt that even HRC personally telling them to pick Obama would help.

14. McCain voted against the Equal Pay Act
I think these people are voting their class interests, which obviously it is not the interests of the working class.

17. I hope these people realize that if Obama does lose and Hillary does
run in 2012 there are MANY former Obama supporters who won't be voting for her.

25. It is not that but there is NO sensible reason that some Hillary supporters
are not for Obama. This is especially true is you are a so called democrat. For me I vote dem either way but for those that are new or not strong they may not be there in 2012.

26. I'm not a Hillary supporter.
Edited on Tue Sep-23-08 12:35 AM by Fire_Medic_Dave
I thought she provided the best chance but she has a lot of negatives and might energize the republican base. Sarah Palin seems to have done the sufficiently and I still think Obama's experience is going to be the biggest factor. If your scenario plays out though the result will be 2 lost elections in a row.

27. David, I assume you've seen the total disater that is
the McCain campaign, his lack of knowledge, his gimmicks, his lack of depth on issues, and there is still and experience argument?

WAKE THE FUCK UP DUMBASSES, IF WE LOSE NOW 2012 WON'T EVEN MATTER.

Get real folks, this country is on the fucking ropes, if we don't fix this now we won't get the chance.

28. I simply posted a question about a given scenario.
Elections aren't decided by educated voters. They are decided by the people who like Sarah Palin's glasses and the ones who are voting for Obama because he's black and against him because he's black. I don't have a lot of faith in the electorate.

has such a great record on women's issues. Puleeze. Obviously they don't like him for another reason. The race and gender cards are now being played.

23. It makes sense now - these are the people who encouraged her to lie.
One thing I never thought of her as before the primaries was a liar. Sure, she's way more conservative than people pretend she is, but I never saw her as willing to just flat-out lie.

and they are big babies on top of that. Obama took their favorite game from them, so they are picking up their toys and running to Grampa.
