Comatose Woman's Case Heard by Florida Court

"...Mr. Schiavo's anger toward Mr. Bush bubbled over after the proceedings, when he broke a long public silence to ask why the governor, a Republican, had not shown up in court.

"If this was so important to the governor, where is he?" Mr. Schiavo said.

He then made a pointed reference to Mr. Bush's daughter Noelle, who was arrested in 2002 for trying to buy pharmacy drugs with a forged prescription and was then caught with crack cocaine at her drug rehabilitation center. At the time, Mr. Bush begged the public to respect his daughter's privacy.

"I can remember you sitting here in front of every one of these reporters with tears in your eyes when your daughter had problems," Mr. Schiavo said, "and you asked for privacy and you got it. Why aren't you giving me my privacy? And Terri her privacy?"

The Bush family is full of hypocrites and cowards. Jebster is no exception.

so he can marry his girlfriend, who's already had two children with him. He and members of HIS family claim that Terri told them she would want to die in this situation.

Terri Schiavo's parents maintain that Terri would have never said such a thing and they maintain that she would want to be kept alive. They are the ones who have been at her bedside all these years (until her husband got an injunction against them.)

I don't trust Michael Schiavo's motives and I'm glad Jeb Bush intervened in the case, though his motives are suspect as well.

Terri Schiavo's parents have stood by her and don't want her starved to death so I believe they are motivated primarily by love for their daughter.

Let's write laws that apply to ONE PERSON and ONLY FOR 15 DAYS so a GOVERNMENT official can make the medical decisions for someone instead of a family member.

After all, we don't need any facts or any evidence of Mr Schiavo's motive or intent. All we need to know is that YOU don't like him.

It's natural for a partner to move on after that much time.

The fact he stood by her for almost 10 of those years speaks volumes about how much he loved her.

She IS dead! By every legal and medical definition, she is dead and has been for years. Only the actions of the "religious right", and Jeb Bush pandering for their votes have kept THIS ISSUE alive.

whew... ok now that i've calmed back down from that i should say hello! I'm new here!! so hi everyone! i'm like SOOO glad i found this place!! I can not believe i just now found it!! i was begining to REALLY worry EVERYONE in this country had the caught the dum dums from bushy! glad to see there are still some people who aren't sheeple being led around by ROVE inc.!!!
