back in the 90's to draw attention to starvation in third world countries...

Much beloved and highly respected, he left Congress to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Agencies...

Former Dayton U.S. Rep. Tony Hall will endorse fellow Democrat Barack Obama for president in an ad to be aired on Ohio Christian radio stations starting Monday, Sept. 22.

This is really cool. Just hearing his voice again made me think about the few people in politics who take their jobs seriously.

How refreshing to have someone who believes in what he's doing and carries through on it...

And maybe, just maybe, he might reach some of the religious right while he's at it.
