Arrested Protesters in CAGES, sleeping on DIESEL fuel...Cops blowing smoke

at them....at Pier 57. Roaches all over the floor...firty, crowded, hot...

I've heard interviews with at least 3 arrestees, CALLING FROM THE PAYPHONE in the cell, saying they were NEVER read their rights, NEVER told what they were charged with.

This is happening NOW on the West Side of New York.

People were illegally arrested, should be transfered out of those dangerous conditions or FREED!

And the Democratic Senators, ALL OF WHICH should be holding a press conference in front of Pier 57, are MIA...as usual.

Call the ACLU in NYC, if you don't think anybody's thought of it before now.

Under the Patriot Act, people can be detained without being read their rights, being charged, or being allowed phone calls. This is Bush's fascist wet dream in action, folks. Some of the Arab Americans scooped up after 9/11 were kept for months without being allowed to call their families to say they were OK.

This is one of the reasons we have to get rid of these sick, anti American bastards in power now.

7. If Ted Kennedy or Hillary Clinton stood in front of Pier 57

and held a press conference, more Americans would know about what is being done to peaceful protesters.

Luckily, they have volunteer lawyers working but we know that won't change the gestapo tactics.
