LOL! McCain/Palin campaign sign 'improved' in uber-red county.

On my usual route to work I go past two locations that typically have large campaign signs. The signs for our representative, Sam Johnson (:puke:) have been up for some time. The McCain/Palin signs must have just gone up over the weekend, because this was the first morning I noticed them.

At the second location, I noticed something had been done to the sign. Someone had taken a pair of scissors or a knife and very precisely cut out two squares so that

MCCAIN
PALIN

now reads

M AIN
PA IN


I laughed out loud all the rest of the way to work. Keep in mind this county went 72% for Dumbya in 04. I can count on one hand the number of McCain bumper stickers I've seen so far. I also noticed this afternoon that a neighbor around the corner who had GWB signs out in 04 is now displaying a Texans for Obama sign.

Just as we don't like our Obama signs messed with the McCain supporters should be granted the same rights. But if you are going to do it then do it big I guess lol.

But I couldn't stop myself from laughing at somebody else's handiwork.

Now I wonder how long it will take for them to notice

I don't know if it's still there, though.

It was still there this afternoon, but I won't be going by there tomorrow.
