All you ever wanted to know about the Twin's fashion sense :-P
Not really...but this is an example of how vapid reporting is in our country.

Twins offer a designer look inside White House of style

By Donna Freydkin, USA TODAY

No, the casually stylish Bush twins don't have a stylist. And yes, they're both fashionistas who pick out their hip, body-hugging clothes themselves.

snip.........

Rose says they don't plot their looks ahead of time.

"They don't try to be too buttoned-up and too put-together, because they're young girls," Rose says. "Truly, the way that they dress, it's about that moment and what they feel like putting on."

Certainly, their ultra-laid-back choice of clothing — from plain cotton tops and worn denim jackets to baggy boot-cut pants and carelessly thrown-on wraps — has raised eyebrows at some campaign appearances. During the convention so far, the twins seem to favor flirty tops paired with jeans or fitted dresses that show off their curves.

1. Cripes! Those poor things always look
like they're on their way to the type of barbecue joint that features picnic tables, sawdust on the floor, and paper plates.

I'm really amused at the way the whore press is trying to spin this into fashion, since the right wing has always been so focused on appropriate dress in the White House as proof of a restoration of dignity to the place.

Don't bother flaming, folks, this is a critique of the press and of a right wing that generally focuses on fashion rather than facts and style rather than substance.

2. Ugh, that is pathetic.
Even more pathetic is how "trampy" they would have reported the Kerry daughters looking if they had worn anything even half as casual.

3. They did.
When one of the Kerry daughters was at a film festival in Caanes, I believe. She had on a black dress that appeared "see-through" when the camera flashes hit it (could see her nipples).

The ridiculous thing is that she was at a Film Festival in France and it had nothing to do with the campaign.

The bad seeds are wearing Frederick's of Hollywood while campaigning!

4. They look like they buy everything off the rack
from Walmart.

It's a shame, because they could be very pretty, if they felt like it. Besides, they are adults now and they have a responsibility to our country. Especially, since they've graduated and don't seem to have any intentions of getting real jobs. At the least, they could try to act like ladies. Just like their asshole dad, they are such an embarrassment.

I tell you what, if my kid got on national TV and acted like that, he wouldn't live to see tomorrow. And the Repugs always say the liberals have no control over their children. Then why does it seem, that the most screwed up ones, are from repug families?

5. Another snip:
They both have a sophisticated but eclectic style, and Barbara more so. She's always been interested in fashion," says Rose, 35.

Sophisticated? Maybe at Wal-Mart.

7. Young girls?
"They don't try to be too buttoned-up and too put-together, because they're young girls,"

Uhmmm, they're college graduates. Young women, hell, I'd even accept but not like, Young Ladies, but not Young Girls. That's like pre-teens!

9. Barbara appears to have inherited...
her mother's love of clothing made from upholstery fabric.

Tell me that jacket in the first shot doesn't look like someone cut it out of the couch cushions.
