We always say the American people are "stupid".... but they GET IT this time...

According to CNN's latest poll, by a margin of 47 to 24, they say that Republicans are more to blame for the Wall Street mess than Democrats.

The past week has awoken America from it's focus on the "minutae" of lipstick and pigs.

Their 401K plans are melting before their eyes and they are taking the ISSUES seriously.

Lots of people might have reservations about electing a black man with a funny name.... but not when it starts hitting their retirement funds.

if less than 1/2 of the country thinks the republicans are to blame, I'll go stick my head in the oven now.

3. 1/4 blame Democrats, 1/2 blame Republicans... the other 1/4 doesn't know enough.....

...but can be educated.

4. I wouldn't necessarily conclude from this that the American people aren't stupid.
In fact, that Palin/McCain seem to be running a fairly tight race (of course, we'll see what happens over the next few weeks) reinforces my original perception that the American voter is the stupidest creature in God's creation, and shouldn't be trusted with a burnt-out match, let alone a vote.
