In recent tv interviews, McCain seems to be on some sort of medication that is making him mellow.

4. McCain is a very ill person, medically he is not at all healthy and so I
...would not at all be surprised if he is on painkilling medications.

McCain's goal is to become president for one day and then fade away

5. Maybe Schmidt/Rove is pulling the trick that Brittney Spear's manager pulled on her.
He was accused of keeping her drugged up so that she would have no idea wtf was going on so he could proceed to spend/steal her money.

In this case, McCain has been reduced to nearly a vegetable so that Schmidt and Rove can run the dirtiest campaign in the history of American politics with no fear of dissent from the old man... IF he had any...

6. He seems dazed and confused much of the time.
May simply be his senility becoming more prominent.

10. Saw video of him at a rally this morning.
He was reading his speech, and did not even read well. He showed little emotion, and missed words regularly.

He seemed pretty sick to me. Or drugged, or both.
President Palin?

11. I have noticed that too
Perhaps they are experimenting with sedative dosages in preparation for the first debate. Being too nervous can turn one into an incoherent babbling idiot. I'm sure Palin will be on some sedatives too, after watching her recent interviews.

14. McCain and Palin will both have wireless ear pieces
deep in their ear canals. Just watch for the odd pauses in their conversation where they are receiving advice. Their rehearsed 60-second generic responses will have a slow cadence to make the pauses seem more natural. Watched the rehearsed expressions of thoughtfulness on their faces as they wait for the answers. Palin is a very fast and confused talker, and she normally starts her answer immediately after the question, even if it is only a generic answer, i.e. "In what respect Charley?". This time there will be some noticeable pauses, especially when she is the first one to answer a question. The moderator may even assist them by keeping the pace slow, or interjecting comments right after asking the question, i.e., "<question>.. and Governor Palin, it is your turn to answer first, you have 90 seconds for your answer".

I doubt they will use the same model device as bush used, or they can just strap the antenna on their front instead of on their back.

13. In the last election our conservative leader all of a sudden was warm
and fuzzy (he was previously a robot). I wondered then if he was on some medication to loosen him up. But how would you ever find something like that out?
