You can tell NC is a battleground state - we watch little TV, but all we see are endless ads.
In Raleigh, we are getting the full thrust of McCrory (R)/Perdue (D) (Governor), and especially, the Joker...er, Dole/Hagan and just an onslaught of McCain/Obama. What is typical of them is that the R ads are utter distortions and lies - a new one we saw tonight had Obama pretty much ruining the entire world - of course, none of the claims are accurate at all and much of what the accuse Obama of doing is McCane's policy. And we saw a new Dole ad tonight that was a sort of cartoon slimeball ad that must be one of the most annoying things we've ever seen. We've lived here 16 years and the density of ads is incredible....
