I know many were concerned about MI but these polls are very reassuring. MI is key to an Obama victory.

2. I knew Michigan's numbers would get better

I think people forgot how far behind Obama was here because of the primary issues. I think Obama will continue to go up and win by 7-8%.

3. Yeah. That primary fiasco hurt Obama in MI but they seem to have gotten over that.
Finally!

4. This is heartening to read.
Just as we were securing Iowa, Colorado, and New Mexico, Michigan was beginning to worry me more.

Now I only worry about New Hampshire and Wisconsin..

6. If people would just refer to 538.com, they could spend their time worrying....
about things that *need* to be worried about, rather than shit that's a lock, like MI.

7. I like your confidence and you are probably right but....
MI is different this year and risky due to the primary fiasco. It is not a lock to the Obama campaign -- they have spent a great deal of time and money there and i suspect will continue to do so until the elections. They are taking nothing for granted.

9. I feel pretty confident about MI
but u are right...we shouldn't take it for granted. McCain is advertising like crazy here. And he's been here 4-5 times in like 2 weeks. He wants Michigan bad. Obama is advertising tons here too...although I don't think he has physically been here as many times as McCain.
