Another reason why Obama may not have been pushing the Keating story yet
Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 08:55 AM by LynneSin
You have got to imagine that out there somewhere McCain is saving up for the mother of all Daisy/Willie Horton/Swift Boating/barking wolves of ads to smear Obama just days before the election. We toss Keating out there now then it'll lose is sparks probably in a few weeks as McCain explains how he was the least punished and only republican.

We save Keating 5 until closer to election day we may have our trump card when McCain goes extremely dirty on us.

2. I'm not saying he doesn't use it
I'm just saying he wants 3-4 more weeks until totally unloading it. If we use this we don't want it to turn into 'that old tired story' before the election hits.

3. Right now we have Rick Davis. He's ugly (physically AND mentally), he's a HUGE mcukety-muck in
Mccain's campaign, he's been very public as a McCain surrogate and he's been paid 15 GRAND A MONTH by Freddie Mac up until last month.

The Keating commection is damning, but this is FRESH.

4. right now....
it is the best time to use it since the main topic of discussion is deregulation....if he does not ue it now, then he will never use it. It will not have much effect in 2-3 weeks.

5. I think McCain
is sinking under his own pile of stuff right now...
his flip flops, his VP mess, his manager mess...
so it's wise to see how far down that takes him

This financial debacle wasn't created in a day...
and won't go away anytime soon...
Keating 5 will be relevant for a long time.
