It's amazing that all the time and money spent since the primary season and now into the Presidential season gets down to ONE DAY. As of this post, that's only 40 days from today.

I've been doing grassroots stuff for Obama since April 2007. I can't believe that it is now winding down to some very critical times where things look pretty good today, but who knows what can happen leading up to November 4th.

As they say in politics, a month is infinity.

I'm curious what others are doing to help get Democrats into office from people here. I don't just mean Obama/Biden. Is there any other Democrats or other causes that people are working on?

We have 40 days to make a difference. If you've been waiting for when it really counts, today is a damn good benchmark to start. If you've been doing grassroots or other work, the finish line is coming into view.

It all comes down to one day.

1. Great on you!
We have been housing Obama volunteers from out of state. We have canvased and called and donated supplies to our local Obama office. For anyone who has yet to volunteer there are many ways to help. Pick one and get going. At a minimum stop in at you local Obama office and see if they need supplies, bottled water, snacks. The better the morale the harder volunteers work. In Ohio it is the young people that are running these offices and they can use all of the help that they can get. Peace, Kim

2. Excellent! And good advice!
When possible, I try to bring by a few boxes of granola bars to the local HQ. Better than pizza and good for putting in the pocket when out in the street doing canvassing...
