All week while the crisis was going on McCain and Palin were prancing around Manhattan.
then the new Wapo/abc poll came out and all of a sudden McCain needs to rush back to DC to deal with this crisis because in his mind it was happening this week or last.

no that was canceled, Bono wanted it private and McCain/Palin did not, imo
that's why Bono said no, i guess he doesn't want to be used as a photo op.

a $700B corporate bailout or a Presidential Debate. Yet McCain was perfectly will to take time for the apparent photo op with him.

Wasn't meant to insult, just to imply the relative priority order.
