Someone earlier in the week posted that a number of Palin's appearances had been canceled...hmmmm

That seems even stranger now seeing that it's only today that McCain's has announced he is suspending the campaign. Has something been in the works for a while? Out of the blue this whole financial train wreck, then Paulson's power grab proposal. Which I understand the administration has had for months. Now McCain feels only his personal appearance and intervention can solve the crisis. Wow, I usually can't even find a tinfoil hat never mind wear one, but I don't know about this.......:tinfoilhat:
