Full CNN/TIME poll results (CO, MI, PA, WV, MT)
I think WV could go our way still and that MT is closer. But the others look very good! So happy to see the PA results.

1. BTW, 5% for Nader in WV is a bit odd
With a better sample, we could be closer.

2. I think we win them all except West Virginia.
Racism dies hard there (so do PUMAs).

3. The gap has narrowed a lot
Maybe the economy will be the final push in making the state blue again.

6. (West Virginian checking in): Yes, the economy has definitely played a factor
in the closeness of the race here. This is one of the poorest states in the nation, and people are hurting. Food banks are actually running out of food!

I think the state might actually be winnable *IF* Obama, Biden or their surrogates (especially the Clintons, who are beloved in WV) were able to spend some time campaigning in this state. But so far, the state has been ignored in the general election. (Not that I blame Obama; he's busy trying to secure Ohio and Florida.)

5. WV has no monopoly on racism or pumas
If you are going to project racism anywhere, you may want to start in your own backyard.

Slagging WV out of ignorance or bigotry does not make it acceptable.
