1. Yes, persuasive - even potentially devestating... IF
IF IF IF not responded to.

Maybe an ad or two replaying some of his attacks in '92 against Bush I ??

3. I think it will be very damaging. They have been running the new
SBVT ad here about Kerry's Vietnam testimony it's also very damaging. They should also play him praising Kerry 3 years ago if there is a tape. I am really worried about our chances it seems like Kerry has been taking a lot of shots lately. I think Bush will get a big bounce from the convention also, since it has been a love fest with the media whores all week. I am afraid we are in very deep trouble.

4. Don't go panicking yet.
The middle of the opposing convention is not the time to decide where things stand.

I was very worried over the last year or so, I was a tad worried with the selection of Kerry. I became quite a bit LESS worried over the last several months as the economy and Iraq did not move as heavily against us as I expected. And today I have some new butterflies.

But this will be largely history two weeks from now.

I'll wait to see what (if any) bounce comes out of the convention and how quickly it fades before I decide whether this will be a walk for us, a tough fight (as I expect), or if it's time for the Hail Mary pass.
