Correlation Noted: Obama down in polls = little Clinton media. Obama up in polls = lots of Clinton
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 09:00 AM by NoodleyAppendage
Has anyone else noticed that the Clintons and their DINO surrogates are now all over the TV at a point when Obama is in an upswing in the polls? Last 2-3 weeks you couldn't shake a media source and find a Clinton to talk on camera...but of course during that time Obama was down in the polls.

So, there appears to be a positive correlation between Obama's poll standing and Clinton "turncoat" media exposure. Looks like there's a DINO family that is worried that Obama might actually win.

In some ways this could be good news. From here on out when I see Clinton (or his surrogates) excusing McCain or half-hearted with Obama, I'm going to assume that must mean that Obama is winning. When the Clintons disappear from the media, therefore, is when we should worry about Obama's chances.

FUCK BILL CLINTON AND HIS DINO/REPUKE SYCOPHANTS.

23. true, and that race was very close
Consider Kerry added a plank to the 2004 platform that spoke of addressing mortgage and credit card abuse - specifically calling for prohibiting most balloon mortgages. Put that with Kerry's history of fighting bank corruption and we would not be in today's situation.

We would have a non-partisan AG, fighting as the chief law enforcement officer.

a better foreign policy and would have had far fewer deaths in Iraq

12. Has anybody noticed that Clinton's appearances over the last 2-3 weeks
have been promoting his Global Initiative Meeting and not campaigning for Obama. He has stated that after this meeting is wrapped up, he will be out campaigning until the election.

When former president Bill Clinton met with Sen. Barack Obama in Clinton's Harlem office last week, he asked the candidate, "What do you guys want me to do?"

The answer appears to be to hold campaign events in Florida, Nevada and Ohio, as well as host fundraisers in New York, California and Ohio.

Clinton said today that he will campaign for Obama beginning next week, once his annual philanthropy conference concludes.

15. Normally I would agree with what you just said, but I am reserving that because of Clinton's
act on Larry King last night.

Clinton could have said EXACTLY what you just did.....but he didn't. He Clintonized it by saying what he wouldn't do, what wasn't presidential, how he would not bash McCain and Palin and offered up all sorts of arguments and reasons and answered questions that WERE NOT ASKED.

How do you square what you wrote with what Clinton SAID last night on King???

It doesn't occur to you at all that maybe it's because OBAMA IS DOING WELL AT CAMPAIGNING? How insulting is that to our candidate? Or maybe it could be that McCain is being seen as the asshole he really is, ever think about that?

42. Clinton still matters...just look at the number of Clinton lover posts here at DU.
If Clinton still garners respect from DUers, then you can bet your bottom dollar that less connected people are listening and responding to his lead. Clinton is not helping Obama, whether he's relevant or not.

Would it be too tough for Bill or Hillary to respond with a "NO," when asked if McCain would be a good President (or something along those lines)? They just can't seem to answer in a clear and affirmative manner in Obama's favor. That's what really chaps my hide.
