Can Somebody Recap the Palin Trainwreck For Me
I was teaching tonight, so I missed it, and I have some *more* work to do tonight (I started at 7 this morning and probably won't get to bed until 3 or 4, and back to work at 8 am tomorrow), so I just need a rundown.

What was bad. People are saying "trainwreck," and "embarrassing." Gimme a bulleted list or something.

Would be much appreciated!

9. Yeah... her interview with Couric was a disaster.
Everyone was saying she was incoherent... but in my opinion I think she meant well... and before I go any further... I need to watch out for feeling for her sometimes.

23. She's the one that's so narcissistic that she didn't "blink" when McCain asked her to be VP.
A normal, non personality disorder person, would really be humbled and decline such an invitation to be VP if they had any sense of decency and any sense that they were out of their league. But no, she didn't "blink": because she has delusions of granduer. Don't feel sorry for a person who is so self involved and is such a vindictive "big fish in a little pond" that she fancies herself the same as Harry Truman or Dwight D Eisenhower. :eyes: Yes, she's pathetic, but don;t tell her, because she considers herself a giant among the commoners.

repeatedly fell back on "as you know John McCain says" as a get-me-out-of-this-question gimmick.

Seemed to have a few lines down and went back to them again and again, regardless of context. Her answer to a bailout question was agonizingly bizzare.

Overall uncomfortable and seemed unsure of herself - and it appeared for good reason, in my opinion.

An embarrassment to a ticket for national office.

On the video, notice her looking down and then coming up for air, followed by a somewhat coherent statement.
A brief coherent statement.
Her anxiety in palpable.
It's like that dream you have had of going in to take a test you I have never studied for. Classic anxiety.
