Listen, when it comes to Sarah Palin, there is only ONE unavoidable truth.

McCain can't win with her, and he can't win without her.

This is a lose/lose situation for McCain. The only recourse he has regarding his running mate is to invent a time machine, travel back to the end of August, and select someone else.

As it stands, he cannot undo this mistake and as a result, no matter what choice he makes (keep her or dump her), it will be his undoing.
