I thought he was courted to run as a Dem against McGreevey because he "... describes himself as a lifelong Democrat with working-class roots"?

..and said he was a democrat? Believe me, he's not somebody I care to have on our side, but still.

9. I heard Joe interviewed once and he said he was a democrat, but
his wife was a huge republican. He said his son had also gone over to the dark side. Maybe he is there as a Stepford Husband.
