I don't think McCain is going to make any political hay out of this financial bailout deal.

He has been banned from Capitol Hill and is "making phone calls" from his campaign headquarters. Not exactly Teddy Roosevelt, take-charge type leadership stuff. What a loser.

3. I heard he was banned from Capitol Hill because his mere presence politicized the process.

The McIdiot is desperately trying to insert himself into this deal to take credit. Disgusting.

5. We all knew he
was politicizing it, but to hear that he's banned, that's rich. What a douchebag.

2. I don't think anybody is going to make political hay out of it. It's too much of a mess.
Nobody is going to be happy with whatever plan is decided upon. Who wants the taxpayers spending $700 billion to bail out a bunch of losers? For the Republicans, it's the failure of everything they've done for thirty years. For the Democrats, there isn't much to gain in saying "I told you so."

If McCain weren't so mean and stupid, he would have realized this last week. Obama was wise to stay quiet.

4. You are so right. This deal is bad, politically, no matter how you look at it.
Obama is handling it the best way possible. Stay the hell out of it until a vote is necessary.

6. That's why I'm ignoring the complainers who say that Obama needs to be more forceful.
The bailout is political poison.

7. This is also why the Dems are insisting on McCain and a large number of Repubs to vote for the deal.
Both parties and the administration need to equally take responsibility/credit for this deal.
