More than if they campaigned separately.

He lists a daily list of public events at http://thepage.time.com/. There is also a schedule on Barack's site.

Streams are generally found on http://origin.barackobama.com/live/ ... and/or www.cnn.com.

15. Event is scheduled for 1:30.
Honestly, anyone not already there would have trouble getting in. The line usually queues up hours before and sometimes tickets are required. Security can be tedious.

It would be cool to mingle-about with your fellow Dems, however. :patriot:

I've never been to a rally. I thought you could just arrive like 20 minutes before and be in the crowd. I'm sure that's how McCain's work, anyway, haha.

I'll have to plan ahead more for the next time he's around here.

But I did the 3-hour stand-in-line thing about a month ago. My 55-year-old back can't handle it again. :-)

I have a friend who is attending today, though. She said she was going to be in line at 6 a.m. I hope she gets a good spot.

30. Was a freshman there for first Earth Day.
1970, beautiful day. Dogs with scarves, frisbees flying.

A week later came Kent State, and we closed the campus.

Spent almost three happy years there, but transferred to MSU to finish up. Spun my wheels at Wayne, which was basically a commuter school, and I wanted the on-campus experience.

Always enjoyed being so near the Cultural Center, and the urinal on the wall outside the Traffic Jam.

...If I still lived there, that is.

Wayne State also now has much more residential living. They started building it when I went there. It was a great school. I've never regretted turning down Michigan to take a chance on Wayne.

plane! It's a SYMBOL of the power.

Years (and years) ago I was taking flying lessons at Boeing Field in Seattle. I walked out of the back door and across the runway saw a huge, white 747 with the Presidential Seal and The United States of America emblazoned on the side. I almost fainted - it was humbling. And it was Nixon's new plane! And I hated him with a passion. But there's something about that plane.. :patriot:

Edited on Sun Sep-28-08 02:06 PM by MoJoWorkin
And of course, MSNBC only showed a couple of minutes of Joe and a couple of Barack. It would be too dangerous for them to show the whole thing. People would see the truth.

I wonder if Tweety would admit that he was wrong about Barack's lack of fire in the belly if we shoved a vid of the last part of this speech in front of his nose. Or, the one last nite where the rain could not put out his fire.

73. He is always good, but since the debate he has REALLY been exceptional on the stump.
He must be exhausted-- debate Friday nite, two major rallies on Saturday in NC and VA, a major speech Saturday nite for the CBC in DC, then Face the Nation this morning, and now this rally in Detroit.

HOW DOES HE DO IT?

74. I was wondering...
the same thing this morning...

he has to be just exhausted, but he keeps on going...

I think he must do extraordinarily good self care...
eating well, exercise, prayer...

also he is surrounded by folks, family as well as staff,
who have very deep love for him....which I'm sure he feels...
and I personally believe that Love is a powerful force.

The end is finally in site...he is in a strong position...

I hope he can take a week off after he nails this thing.
