I missed some of the first part of the debate, I'm not going to watch McCain's cranky mug again. But:

What was the "Miss Congeniality" remark and context?

It is his sarcastic way of saying lots of people don't like his ornery ass. "I never won the miss Congeniality award in the Congress" or "with the other Senators" or some other variation. He thinks its cute to be an asshole.

3. I didn't understand what he meant by

"I'm not Miss Congeniality". I even had to look up the meaning of congeniality. It simply means "agreeable" so was he really saying "I am not being agreeable with you" to Obama. Maybe other posters will help us out here. :hi:

Maryline Blackburn, and Palin was referred to as Miss Congeniality in that as well so I figured it was probably a legit title.

In the article Ms. Blackburn refers to Palin as congenial & calculating...
