4. That's early for him.
Friday's "everybody be scared, but stay calm" blurb came just as the markets opened. The market is jittery today and he must be worried.

This whole song/dance.bailout/robbery is pimp out some false confidence and kick the can down field. Buying time is expensive these days, and not very effective.

5. That must have been a surprise -- neither msnbc.com nor cnn.com streamed it.
The other day he spoke at 9:30 Eastern, and I was surprised because I would have thought he would have waited a little later for the folks on the West Coast.

Today, it's not even 5:00 a.m. yet on the West Coast. Wow.
