Ruth Ann Minner is our current governor and to be honest, the regular governor position was decided with the democratic primaries where Jack Markell defeated Jim Carney in an upset. I have a feeling that it'll be Carney that will get the pick which kinda saddens me because Carney is more like Tom Carper than Joe Biden AND lately Carper has shown signs of being a Lieberman wannabe (although not at the point of being kicked out of the party).

I know Biden has a couple of kids but Beau is heading to Iraq this month and barely won his AG job (nepotism and how young Beau was hurt him a bit but I think he'll easily win next election) and Hunter hasn't show any political aspirations. Not sure about Joe's daughter.
