Will Sarah Palin be Fed Answers to The Debate with an earpiece?
Are there any rules against this? We all know in 2004 Bush used one. We could even see the imprint of the transmitter on his back seen through his jacket. Palin can hide an earpiece easier if her hair covers her ears instead of her wearing her hair up as usual. Are the candidate's checked before hand to prevent such a thing from happening? We all know the GOP will do anything to make sure she wins the debate and this is one trick I fear they will use. After all, it worked in 2004. Thoughts?

Oh, and I tried emailing John Cafferty this but have no direct email address to him. I would think its a question he would address on the air.

1. In the Couric interview she used notes
It just made matters worse for her.

She is not a smart person to start with, which is why she would need some help. But she just isn't going to be able to make sense of something in her earpiece and at the same time get something coherent coming out her mouth.

An earpiece would be helpful for people to coach her when she's not talking -- i.e. while Biden is answering.

4. Will
Will she get a free life line and if so will she be allowed to use it? If not, will she have to just get back to us?

5. Don't forget she was a sports caster for a while so she has experience w/ this
Having an earpiece is old hat for her. Often in TV production, the producer is talking in your ear while your talking on the air.

I don't think she'd have as much trouble with an earpiece as she did note cards.

2. I think it would be dangerous
Bush had a lot more time to practice with his. She could really screw that up.

11. and nobody suspected anything when Bush took long pauses and stared
If she has one, I think she will give it away at some point- maybe raise her hand to her ear or say "mmm hmmm" or something.

6. As I have stated many times, there are a lot of us
who have already written Gwen and asked that she be checked. Then not doing that now, would be remiss.

7. Could someone in the audience "jam" the transmission?
I'm no expert but it seems it should be easy to block something like this. At the very least it should be possible to monitor radio frequencies and catch them red-handed. Any experts here?

8. That would probably interfere with the SS earpieces and the moderators.
It'd be hard to jam hers without jamming theirs.

9. An ear piece will just confuse her more
She will just ramble talking points just like in the Katie Couric interviews.
