Here's a funny story : my husband got polled last night.
My daughter is at college and I was out canvassing last night. My husband was home watching MSNBC like he always does in the evening. He got a phone call from a 1-999-999-9999 number asking for my daughter. He said she wasn't home so they asked for me. He figured it was some kind of polling so he said "Wouldn't you like to talk to the MAN of the house?" You also have to know he has this very rough-sounding, gravely, Harley-biker type of voice that makes some people afraid of him but it's his normal voice. So they said yes, who are you supporting for president? He said he yelled "OBAMA!" and hung up.

Now, he says he thought it was some polling for McCain. I think it was actually a national pollster or a Dem polling place. He never votes in primaries except for this last one. My daughter and I have always voted in primaries, so you can tell we are Dems. They probably didn't have him on the list because he isn't ID'd. He actually gets Republican junk in the mail addressed to him during election time but he's always voted Dem.

Anyway--those pollsters got a big resounding OBAMA from this household last night! :patriot:

1. We had a pollster call last night too
It annoyed me because Rachel's show was just starting. The caller wanted to talk to any registered voters between 18 and 34. I told them that there were none in our household but that both my husband and I were voting for the Obama-Biden ticket. She said "thanks" and hung up.
