McCain Pummeling Michigan with ads - I saw 3 back to back
during the news hour this evening.

Since I got home from work I have seen about 10 ads altogether.

Then I log on and I see that McCain is "in full retreat in Michigan"?

Doesn't make sense unless they just emptied the coffers here and bought a bunch of airtime in retreat.

Or they are lying and they are making a move.

Interesting.

1. What I read earlier was that the RNC bought air time basically right before...
...McCain's camp made the decision to pull out.

Another premature pull out by the McCain campaign.

2. Probably dumping the advertising that was already paid for.
It's not particularly beneficial to run ads all in a row like that.

It's like with a televised football game when they run about 15 minutes of commercials just after the game ended.

They already paid for this weeks ads, so they'll run them and suspend them at weeks end. He has in fact pulled out and all but conceded MI's electoral votes.
