2. Well, when you're the most hated man in the world,
you need all the security you can get.

3. I can't
stand him as much as the rest of you. But please, the Presidential motorcade is the same for Dubya as it was for Clinton during his 8 years. Having friends in the Secret Service, it gets old seeing people demonize them. For the record, I know many agents who don't approve of this administration, but they have a job to do, and politics cannot get in their way.

I didn't see the whole motorcade

but I did see Clinton three times, and each time his motorcade
was around 50 to 60 vehicles. A number of police cruisers,
5 to 6 SUVs, 2 ambulances, 2 to 3 limos (one with the president),
a number of "follow up" cars plus the motorcycles (two dozen or more).

5. A huge motorcade driven by his ego.

Someday, perhaps we'll see him carried aloft by servants on his throne.

7. Is he the first president to have security?
I don't get these criticisms of Bush. It reminds me of the people who criticized Clinton for shutting down Pennsylvania Avenue. Granted, I criticized the fact that they shut down Pennsylvania Avenue but I aimed it at the correct people - the Secret Service. There are a million things to criticize him for. Why focus on the stuff that every president has? (I mean, I doubt Kerry is going to go Happy Hours at McCormick and Schmidt alone when he's in the White House).
