Wishful thinking or momentum shift?
Is it wishful thinking or doesn't snyone feel the momentum may be shifting our way? I think Zell's "spitball" speech was a turn-off with some backlash potential among undecideds, the purple heart bandaid spectacle was equally off-putting, Ben Barnes on 60 minutes and Salon story about Bush's Lost Year (hopefully) will be cable news fodder shortly, and all things consdiered, the race is still neck-in-neck.

Looking forward, I am hoping the corny, hokey, stage-in-the-round- that- does- magic -tricks will be over-the-top silly and laughable (like a movie with too many special effects- remember "The Haunting", for example?)

Anyway, anyone out there feel a momentum shift in the air?

5. Welcome to DU, jfalchion!
:hi: :toast:

No * yard signs to report out here on the other coast in Portland, either! Lots and lots and lots of Kerry signs everywhere, though!

2. More importantly
the media is turned off, and saying so. Dissing the twins, laughing at Zell.

4. My s/o is very middle of the road
She pisses me off alot with it even though she's supporting Kerry. Being my convention watcher, she's been totally turned off by their negativity. I think and hope she's a good gauge of moderate opinion.
