If Obama is elected, here are some changes you can REALLY count on!

1.)
Republicans will suddenly remember that they are for as
little government intrusion as can be hoped for. They will go
from "fine with me, I have nothing to hide" to "get big
government out of my life!" Any attempt to check out what
THEY read or watch or say on the phone or by email will
be classified as an invasion of privacy and a violation of
their constitutional rights.

2.)
Republicans will suddenly remember that THEY are the party
of fiscal responsibility, screaming about that every Obama
budget that isn't balanced, forgetting that every one Bush
Lite put forth put us so deep into debt, the Marianna Trench
seems like high altitude by comparison.

3.)
Republicans will suddenly be of the opinion that the Justice
Department needs to put cops on the street, and that any
wrongdoing by Bush administration officials should be
treated as "youthful indiscretions," and ignored, let alone
prosecuted. Prosecution of politicians, if Republican, will
automatically be re-classified as a witch hunt. Prosecution
of Democrats will continue to be for the sake of law and
order.

4.)
Any questionable statement by Obama or Biden will be
immediately pounced on by Fox "News" and National Hate
Radio as deliberate lying to the public. Any deliberate lying
to the public, and/or under oath, by Republicans will be
treated as inadvertent "inoperative" statements, and are
therefore to be taken in stride by a tolerant American public.

1. Agreed - they change talking points without so much as a
thought and they do it with such a sense of righteousness - it's unnerving but do you not think that the majority of Americans have been so detrimentally impacted by the last eight years that they'll tune out republican rants? I hope so! Eight years in a bad relationship tends to make one see things differently.

Never heard of it!

Economy gone south? Obama/Clinton's fault! Neven should have passed that bail-out bill!

Economy improves? Good thing we forced you to pass that bail-out bill

4. Now they will have two targets
Obama and Clinton morphed into one great anti-Christ figure responsible for both eating and offering the apple.

5. A change of wording is in order...
Lets say they AGREE that the government should not act as Big Brother etc.

They are NOT the only party with that platform. Same for fiscal responsibility etc.

No need to re-enforce false talking points.
