When the VP debate became a bad joke
---

As soon as Palin said she was not going to answer the questions, and Gwen Ifill let her, it was a farce from that point on.

IMHO

2. yes it was a bad joke.
Ifill should have told faillin to answer the questions. If she was not going to follow debate procedure she could leave.

3. I didn't get to see the debate. What questions did she say she wouldn't answer?
Out of curiousity.

8. Any she chose not to, is what she said. "I'm going to talk straight to the American people."

5. I couldn't believe both Ifill and Biden let her get away with it.
To me that was the most telling moment of the dsebate. It was a big FU not only to the moderator but to her opponent - and neither called her out on it.

7. You are right
Biden and Ifill should not have let Palin get away with not answering questions. However to be fair, Biden couldn't seen as being to aggressive with her, and Ifill had to thread lightly because the Republicans caused an uproar about a book that she wrote about up and coming black politicians in which Obama was mention.

6. She did not go to a DEBATE
she went to "talk directly to the American people."

It was disgusting. But the mind numb buttholes love her. It never occurs to ANY of them what the truth is all about.
