ATTN: Lurking Freepers, Corner bloggers, etc... re: Ayers & Wright
I've noticed a dramatic shift in your attention, and your propaganda campaigns, towards these two men in the last 48 hours.

FYI - It won't matter. Most Americans do not hold Obama's loose associations with these people against him. They don't care. They see him for the decent man that he is, and that Wright and Ayers are not quite the devil-incarnate you'd like them to be.

In other words, most Americans are reasonable.

So go ahead and bring it on if ya want to.

It won't matter. It won't change people's minds. President Obama will be sworn in this January.

1. Yep. It's old news now. Obama cut ties with Pastor Wright,
or didn't you Freepers get the memo?

And Ayers? Don't make me laugh. There is no there there. But there is the KEATING 5, suckers! You wait.

4. I'm trying to see what the material effects of having a president who associated with Ayers exactly
means to them? What is it they fear? That President Obama will bomb police stations when nobody is looking to protest the VN war?

14. Good! Keating 5 is no joke. Also, also RELEASE MCC'S DAMNED MEDICAL RECORDS!!!
Just spoke to a dermatologist who told me melanoma is very deadly. Stage 2 patients live only about 5 years. There are 5 stages, and we don't know what stage McC has/had. If it was 2, 3, or 4 he truly may not survive long. ( Not that I wish him dead, just retired.) And, she said, to have melanoma 4 times is almost unheard of. She also said the scar and puffiness on his face show that a very large chunk of his skin was removed. He is most likely a very ill man.

There is a reason he has not released his medical records. We have every right to know what they say before election day.

8. Interesting how Palin said in the debate that we shouldn't look at the past...
yet, that's what the McCain campaign is doing by referencing Ayers and Wright.

No... that's not hypocrisy.... :eyes:

12. They've been selling that Ayers thing from the beginning.
It hasn't made any difference yet - people who buy that crap have already paid the credit card bill.

15. "paid the credit card bill" Bwahahahaa! The other canard I've noticed just today
on the internets is that the speech Obama gave in Chicago in October 2002 against the war is a fake. That the things he said are almost too wise, given the way things ended up happening. That the speech must actually have been from some future date because it was so dead on.

The fact is, he was just that wise.

16. John McCain should be trying to retain a shred of dignity
for when he returns to the Senate. Seriously. His reputation is swirling the drain.

17. I was going to say, you let the cat out of the bag a bit too early...
but...hey.. what does it matter - anyway - ... maybe they can go on to the "bitter comment" with "Bittergate"?

I agree with you. Someone like Hannity thinks something like this would matter but considering the circumstances that surround the Republican party over the last eight years, just sounds desperate and is worth a laugh.

20. The tabloids are featuring Cindy's drug addiction problem.. and their loveless marriage.
Perhaps next they'll tackle McCain's affair with that lobbyist. See.. everyone can roll around in the dirt and mud. Palin and her affair is pretty much a known fact in the Country.

You republicans can't win on ideas, or issues, or decency, you have to cheat and smear and lie. HOw pathetic is that?

21. We must hit back with McCain's Singlaub & USCWF connections
Besides the G.Gordon Liddy friendship that mediamatters.org publicized,
there's:
I picked up on Paul Begala's lead on Meet the Press and compiled a brief expose of McCain & U.S. Council for World Freedom (USCWF -McCain sat on the board of this far right anti-communist organization!!) & Contra point-man John Singlaub:
http://bluesunited.blogspot.com/2008/10/nyts-silence-on-mccains-ayers-g-gordon.html

THIS IS THE OTHER STORY THE MEDIA NEED TO COVER!
The Repugs -Rove, R. Davis, et al will stop at nothing. The Palin cite of Ayers was just the beginning.
McCain consorted with backers of real terrorists in USCWF.
