The real reason campaigns go negative is not for the votes
but for the air time. The MSM, in spite of their complaining that politics is in the gutter, is more than happy to comply.

1. And, he can't afford real ads, real campaigning, and real events.
Sensationalist smears are cheap. And, the POW Camp is low on funds.

Fortunately the GOP won't have the votes in the House this time to vote for an impeachment. But they will try to slime Obama every day regardless.
