It would make a devastating counterpunch if we could package it right.

3. she mentioned "Joe Biden", and the crowd booed. You could see the lips
of the folks behind her with their nasty mouths into "ooooooos"

4. Disgusting woman. Joe would never do this to her if it were reversed.
But then we knew that, he and Barack have class and Sarah and Jonny-boy have zero.

6. Palin really is a different breed.
Watch her when she attacks. Her face lights up and she smiles. She really does have mental issues.

8. No, he wouldn't.
McPain and Failin' show an appalling lack of class at all times, but it's especially stomach-turning considering what the Biden family is dealing with right now.

10. What sort of agriculture industry does Nebraska have?
Edited on Mon Oct-06-08 10:52 AM by nc4bo

Nebraska farmers “can tell you fuel costs can make the difference between turning a profit and losing a farm,” she said.

Palin somewhat altered her Saturday attack on Obama for “palling around with terrorists,” having cited his association with William Ayers, a former member of the Vietnam-era Weather Underground.

They wouldn't happen to grow corn would they? How about other crops that could be used for bio fuels?

Didn't Sen. Mccain just say the other day that he would slash all subsidies?

So many questions, so little time.... :wtf:

ETA: Found something:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/mcclatchy/20080927/pl_mcclatchy/3056882

McCain stressed that he'd cut government spending, something he's proposed even before the Wall Street mess. "We've got to examine every agency of government," he said.

He said he'd cut subsidies for ethanol as an example, and suggested a spending freeze on all federal spending except that for defense, veterans care and entitlements such as Medicare and Social Security .

We all have our own opinions on whether subsidies are a good or a bad thing but the bottom line is, if you are a farmer and you depend on these subsidies, then with Mccain, you are screwn.

So I guess none of those people own a farm or know farmers who are struggling to keep their heads above water, right?

ETA: forgotten link :)

11. They don't call us the Cornhuskers for nothing.
But the majority of Nebraskans vote against their own best interest year, after year, after year.

9. That's pretty shitty to do know that Biden isn't even campaigning right now...
unlike McCain, Biden is out because his Mother-In-Law passed away over the weekend.

12. She said she purposefully avoided answering Couric's questions....
Rhetorical question but, does she know what she's doing? She is making so many enemies in the press, accusing them of being underhanded, blah blah, and now she wants to put out the talking points that she's playing games with them? What an idiot. She's totally reckless.

She is going to have one rough last month ahead.
