1. Nothing is over until it's over....
...if it can swing this far to Obama in just a week or two then it can swing back in the 4 weeks we have left.

Everything is subject to change and nothing is over until the results are declared on election day.

2. Na', it was already "leaning" Obama two weeks ago.
McCain only had a lead there for one reason: The GOP Convention.

That's the only reason he's held any lead in any poll.

4. Still.....let's not get cocky...
I'm still really worried and I am going to continue to be worried and to act on that fear for the next 4-5 weeks. I'm taking nothing for granted.

7. I'd love to be cocky but I'm still gun-shy from '04.
Still, it's October 6--and every day off the calendar where Obama continues to post these amazing poll numbers is more time off McCain's clock.

8. I can get cocky, Obama? Well I doubt he will! :)
I think the fact Obama has held a 50+ lead in Rasmussen for nearly two weeks is pretty damning.

The election window is not a month, it's two weeks. If Obama is leading by this much in two weeks, it's over.

10. What this does the day before the debate make McCain
feel insecure and have a loss of confidence. He will get angry at the ones
around him and lash out, since he never takes responsibility for his actions.

This is great news right before the debate which I think we and the voters will
see a debate on temperament needed in a time of crisis and we know
McCain won't win that one.

3. It hasn't swung to Obama, from mcPOW, in a week or two.
It has been steadily building towards him for months.

McPOW has NEVER lead in the EV count. He has been losing, and losing ground.

6. I was referring to the EV count.
Maybe I misunderstood the poster I was responding to.

15. and, isn't that based on polls which depend on land-line connections?
unlike polling which takes into account the younger generation(s) being solely on cell phones?

if so ... look out, LANDSLIDE ....
