The Content of His Character... or, SPREAD THE STORY!!!!

I think Ichingcarpeter's post (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x7324205) should get sent to everyone we know. I titled the email "The Content of His Character" and introduced it like this:

I think this story, though seemingly small and "human interest", is an excellent example of character. After all, it's what we do when no one else is looking that truly defines us.

It's actually a story from a Norwegian newspaper (here is the link: http://www.vg.no/nyheter/utenriks/presidentvalg-2008/artikkel.php?artid=527005) but a blogger translated it to English here (http://leishacamden.blogspot.com/2008/10/not-that-it-matters.html)

Then I followed with the translation for those who don't want to follow the links.
