"OMG.... So sorry! We never should have said, 'Barack Hussein Obama!' It was terribly inappropriate to say 'Hussein,' as in, 'Barack Hussein Obama.' We TOTALLY apologize for saying 'Barack Hussein Obama!' That was very bad of us."

"Seriously. We never should have said 'Hussein,' as in, 'Barack Hussein Obama.' We will tell everyone associated with our campaign that they must never refer to our opponent as 'Barack Hussein Obama,' only as 'Barack Obama.' No 'Hussein.' Really."

"In the future we expect our campaign not to repeat the mistake of saying 'Barack Hussein Obama' and we will delete all references to the name 'Hussein' from our materials. It was grievously unfair for us to remind people that our opponent's middle name is a common MUSLIM name like 'Hussein,' which lots of Islamic extremist terrorists are called, when of course we would never imply that our opponent had any connection to Islamic extremist terrorists because of the middle name 'Hussein.' We want that to be very clear."

"So we will never refer to the Senator as Barack 'Hussein' Obama again, and we expect everyone to respect our decision to avoid using the Senator's middle name 'Hussein,' and likewise eliminate that reference from their speeches, etc."

"Got that, everyone? We're SORRY we said 'Hussein', and we will never say 'Barack Hussein Obama' again, and we hope everyone will forget that we ever said 'Barack Hussein Obama', and will likewise refrain from referring to the Senator as 'Barack Hussein Obama.' NO MORE HUSSEIN!"

our native son who will represent us in washington and show the world that we do not judge a man buy his name, his color, or his station in life, but by the content of his character. Just as Martin Luther King had dreamed.
